Date: 12/08/2020

Versions: 2019+

Programs: MasterKey Retaining Walls

Description

Following on from user requests, we have created a set of typical walls using the Stepoc system.

  • See www.andertonconcrete.co.uk/stepoc-concrete-shuttering-system-overview.aspx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6X9-iXRVVwo

We have given you typical 200, 256 & 325 wide Stepoc walls with the vertical and horizontal rebar set correctly. Please download and extract the sample file from the zip file. https://files.masterseries.com/downloads/Stepoc%20walls.zip

To Store in Database

  1. Open the Stepoc file in Retaining Walls
  2. On the "Design Brief" tab select "Add to Database"
  3. Repeat for the 256 & 325 walls
  4. Close the Stepoc file

 To use

  1. Open your file
  2. On the "Design Brief" tab select "Add Brief from DataBase"
  3. Select the 1000, 5000, Reinforced, Masonry & Un-Stiffened boxes and press "Use Filter"
  4.  Select your chosen wall and press Close.

Tidying up the User Database

To speed up accessing the database, it might be a good Idea to delete the sample ones you would never use.

Usage Notes:

  •  You MUST amend the soil properties to suit your local conditions
  •  Vertical Rebar used 20 mm. Should you change the rebar diameter you will need to adjust the cover. Increasing the rebar diameter will reduce the cover, so leaving the cover the same will be conservative.
  • The horizontal rebar is set to 6mm as the program thinks it is bed joint rebar. You must use 10 mm horizontal bars as recommended. We will adjust this in a future version Of the MasterSeries.
  •  Stepoc is one of several hollow block systems available and demonstrates the setup procedure. You can adjust the properties for another system. You would need to set Fx, Block Width, rebar spacing & cover accordingly.
