Bracing Members (Members not in Panel)

You can access the bracing members option from the button in the top right panel or from the Loads > Wind Panel Loading (Pro) > Bracing Members menu.

These bracing members are members in panels that are not directly loaded with wind loading, eg, bracing members in a roof or external wall panel.

Click on the +/- button to pick members.
Select the members that are to be bracing members.

Defining Non-Bracing members as a 'Member not in Panel'

'Panel Bracing member' refers to a particular element will not be subject to direct wind application. In most cases it is a bracing member (hence the name).

In some situations you might need to define a non-bracing member as a 'panel bracing member'.
