Baseplate Concrete Edge Distance Orientation

The concrete edge distance relate naturally to the 2D base plate orientation as drawn in the connections module. The question is really then how does this orientation relate to the structural model? The local base plate orientation follows the column member beta angle (cross section rotation). Turning on the beta angle drawing for the column, the 'T' shaped beta angle on the column can be related to the 2d base plate plan drawing as follows. 

The 'T' on the 2D baseplate drawing has been added for clarity and is not drawn in the software.
