Dimensioned Natural Stone Values
When you select 'Natural Stone', you will need to manually define the fxk1 and fxk2 values. The UK NA does not come with values for fxk1 nor fxk2 and so MasterSeries instead uses a nominal value that will equate to a failure on the panel.
In the 'Use fxk1, fxk2 from test results' two values, separated by a semi-colon ";" should be input to account for the parallel and perpendicular flexural strengths. This would akin to the tensile property of the material, and one would not expect the same value as the Fk (compression strength) value.
See our Manual Entry on 🧱 Material
The compressive strength (fk) and flexural strengths (fxk1 (parallel) and fxk2 (perpendicular)) can be entered from test results. These will override the values selected from the droplists. Thus the user can add block strengths for specialised manufactured blocks, eg, Porotherm blocks.
