Integrated Pile Cap Design (EN1992/EN1997)
Model and Analysis
Ensure the MasterFrame model is complete, with columns resting on nodes intended to be supported by pile caps. Run the static analysis.

Access Design
Within MasterFrame, access the Pile Cap Design module (usually found within the Design menu or Integrated Design components).

Input Pile Data
Input the specific pile parameters required for design (diameter, spacing rules, and specified safe working load capacity).

Critical Load Case Check: Use the feature to scan all load cases from the MasterFrame analysis to automatically identify the single load case that results in the maximum axial load or moment per pile, which governs the design.
Structural Design
Define the number and spacing of piles (ensuring minimum spacing rules)
Select the appropriate design methodology (Beam Theory or Strut-and-Tie model).
Specify concrete grade, cover, and reinforcement details.
The software calculates the axial and moment capacity, checks punching shear, and flags any failures in the reinforcement arrangement.

Output
Export detailed drawings of the pile cap outline and reinforcement, or generate a reinforcement schedule.
