Base Plate Connection

The simple base plate connection is based on the base plate design from SCI P358 and also SCI P398. Thus this connection can be designed as either a simple of a moment connection, depending upon the applied forces input.

The inputs are identical to those of the moment-resisting base plate connection, outlined in the Moment Connections part of this manual.
